ARMOR SA is located in Nantes in the west of France, 2 hours by train from Paris. The company designs, manufactures and markets Thermal Transfer ribbons for the whole EMEA zone (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and supplies jumbos to the group’s manufacturing subsidiaries.
The company’s Thermal Transfer adventure was born within ARMOR SA when the technology was first introduced to Europe in 1983.

To support EMEA customers in the marketing of Thermal Transfer ribbons, a whole range of services tailored to their needs can be called upon.
In addition to the ARMOR services offered by all its TT subsidiaries (sales aids, Extranet, samples, product customization etc.), ARMOR SA also offers :
- an experienced sales team: a sales force on the ground ready to meet clients and to respond to their demands,
- ribbon stocks covering 80% of requirements, deliverable on D+1 in many countries,
- same day dispatch for orders placed before 3 p.m. for stock items,
- manufactured products dispatched within 3 to 5 days,
- participation in trade shows,
- attractive promotions (PRIMA, …)

ARMOR’s manufacturing base has developed significantly since the beginnings of Thermal Transfer in 1983. Initially located in the city centre next to the original head offices, the factory was fully relocated in 2006 to the outskirts of Nantes, a move designed to support the company’s development and technological progress.
This new ARMOR factory at La Chevrolière, also called the Thermal Transfer Industrial Expertise Centre (TTIEC), is a reflection of the policy of investment in industrial marking technologies.
There, ARMOR designs and manufactures all the thermal transfer films for its slitting subsidiaries across the world, but it is also at the TTIEC that all finished products for customers in the Europe, Middle East and Africa zone are produced.
In recognition of its strong commitment to Quality, Safety and the Environment, the site received the triple certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in December 2006, just four months after production began.
